These are all pictures of me. Some are old, some are new.

Twenty years ago.

In Arizona, on the Navajo reservation near the Canyon de Chelly.

Making a mess in my marbling studio.

Many years ago, doing some silk marbling.

No, I didn't make the poster!!

Winter in Oklahoma

A few webcam shots below, July 2003:

Some webcam shots from 2004 below:

My baby sugar glider from Australia.

I'm not a ball player, someone gave me the shirt.

Don't you know a dodo when you see one??

Yep, the eyes were Photoshopped.

After playing the piano at my nephew's wedding.

The time I marbled my face for Halloween.  Kinda scary....

Me and Mr. Mistoffelees, who hated for me to hold him.

This cat is happier, but I look kind of dead.....

I won the contest for the poster design, for the Oklahoma City rodeo.  I made it by marbling and masking three different patterns on the same sheet.  Got $500 for it!  I marbled my crazy shirt here too.

Ever had a bearcat sitting on your head?

October 2003, in Oregon.

At the Chicago Rodeo, 2002

You'd think kite-flying is pretty harmless... but not when the kite was bigger and stronger than I was.
It dragged me across a few acres of grass and dirt.   May 2004.

I made all this leather drag myself (not that I would go out in public looking like this).

That's not a cap, that's totally frozen hair -- skiing at Heavenly Valley, CA on a nasty day.

Me and Fenicia.... an Egyptian fennec fox.  I had 6 of them!  World's cutest critters.

My Lyon & Healy grand piano, from 1923.  I spent 6 months tearing it into hundreds of pieces, stripping off the paint, refinishing it, and restringing it.  Had to learn how to tune it, too!
I did the marbling on the walls and ceiling too.

Petrified Forest National Park, Arizona... Sept. 2004.
Those logs are 225 million years old!  That's from before the age of the dinosaurs.

In Kodachrome Basin State Park, Utah.
At Dick Rock... it's about 170 feet tall....!

Teaching a marbling class in Las Vegas

Me at Bratislava Castle, Slovakia, on the Danube River

Me at South Park, Colorado

The new truck!  In my front yard.  I drove it 236,000 miles before it died in the middle of a cornfield somewhere in Illinois.

The farm boy!

Being goofy...........

On the Alligator Arch, in northern New Mexico.  The arch has since collapsed, which is tragic, but at least I wasn't on it.

Feeling happy.

In Copenhagen, Denmark, Sept. 2007

In Norway, Sept. 2007

Norwegian picnic table!  Above the Arctic Circle, Sept. 2007

Pocahontas, Mississippi was the closest town to where I grew up -- population 52!  October 2008.

Only in Mississippi -- same road goes three directions!

My house in Oklahoma

My passport picture, August 20, 2009.

Me freezing on a wet day at the Belvedere Palace in Vienna -- 2013:

The Bösendorfer factory near Vienna, where my piano was born!

I have a friend who is deathly allergic to onions, and hates the very thought of them.
So of course when I found these huge onions, I had to take these pictures just to irritate him.

Some of my antique Hull pottery -- I have over 200 pieces.
2015.

Some of my taxidermy work, 2015:

All pictures below were taken 2018 - 2021:

One of my favorite hobbies is going out in the desert looking for natural arches.

I like to make leather gear:

I made all this except the cap:

I made all this leather wear:

I have my dad's old Singer sewing machine from World War 2 in my house, for leather work.
It will happily run right over your fingers.

What will I do with marbled leather?

Working on a new leather project:

My biggest leather project was making this leg harness:

My fancy face mask.  It's quite functional, there are filters behind all the little holes:

I won't be needing this any more.....

A little fall of rain....

Sleepytime pictures:

Working in the wood shop:

No that's not a covid mask, i'ts me covered in sawdust:

I got this energy drink in Iceland.  It was truly horrible.

This one was a bit better:

In the days of Covid hair -- 7 months and 10 days without a haircut:

But finally i cut it myself:
